On Tuesday Nov. 24th I was able to be in the High Point Christmas Parade, Thanks to my driver Brandon and the people over the Christmas Parade.

Bob's Buddies Radiothon Nov. 25th broadcast live

On Wednesday the 25Th, Me and my mom along with my friend Kristin traveled to Raleigh/Durham area to attend the second annual radiothon for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. This was a 12h hour long radiothon that was broadcast live over 105.7 and 105.1 from 6a.m till 6p.m. I was able to be on the air from 12p.m till 1 p.m, I was able to talk about my sister Cora and the different things that went on while she was fighting her brain tumor for the 3 years. In the hour that I was on the air there was $11,811 dollars raised for the PBTF, at the end of the day there was a grand total of $134,805 dollars.

Thanks to all the people that called and give a donation also thanks to Bob and he showgram for giving their time and the air time to the PBTF.

There also was a lunch time opportunity that was given to all the people that were listing to the show that if we raised more than 9,000(which was the highest amount in one hour that morin) that Nick would get a kiss from Me (Miss Teen North Carolina) and we hit $11,811 so nick got a kiss ... the Video will be added to the blog in the next couple hours along with pictures.

Save Austin life with bone marrow drive

On November 8Th at 12:00p.m the line was out the door for Austins Bone Marrow drive that started at 1p.m and ended at 5p.m. Austin is a 19 year old young man who is once again fighting Leukemia he has fought this battle and won twice before so please pray for a 3rd miracle. There was over 900 people that came to see if they were the match, to help Austin , please keep him in your prayers an also that there was a match.

Happy Veterans Day!!!

I would just like to take a min to think all the man and women that leave their families and sacrifice their life to help keep us safe everyday. Thank you!! GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU AND WHAT YOU DO!!! HAPPY VETERANS DAY! Thanks to my very on step dad William for your years of service, My Paw Paw Jim, and also Marcus who is now working with the Navy!

Special Olympics

Saturday November 7th I was able to spend time at the special olympics in High Point North Carolina, My home town. Where people came from all over for the events, Saturday night there was a dance for everyone and I was able to meet a lot of the kids and teens that were in the events.

Had a great time and loved every min of it :)

Duke University Hospital ~Service Of Remenbrance~

On October 3rd, 2009 Me and my family along with many other families, went to Duke University Hospital for a service to remember the love one's that passed away from cancer in 2009. I was able to share my sisters story with many others and what I am doing with my Title to make something Positive out of something Negative. This service really showed how many others have lost someone to Cancer.

Take a min. to and see what you have and just know that it so much more than what others have in their life.

Princess Pageant

Princess Pageant was in Davidson County, I was able to attend the pageant all day and that night one of my best friends gave up title, and I was able to be there for the moment. Was a great show and meeting new people.

Bush Hill

In my home town Archdale we had a Bush Hill walk, and I was able to attend. Meeting other queens, doing a little shopping, and having some nice food. I also gave blood for for the 2nd time. What a great fun filled Saturday.

September Is Childhood Cancer Awarencess Month

This is my sister Cora who passed away from a Brain Tumor. This Month find some way to help out a family that has a child with cancer.

Rides for Kids

Sunday August 30th 2009 Morning i was able to ride in a ride on the side of a motorcycle to help raise money to help find the cure.

I do all these events for my sister cara so not another family or child has to go though what my family and sister went though.

Prayers for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation

I am sad to say but Mike Traynor the President and the Co- Founder with his Wife of the PBTF has passed away 9-12-09 at the age of 70 years old. I would like to just ask prayers for the Foundation and his family. Mike was a really sweet man and and had a heart of gold to helping find the cure for the pediatric Brain tumors. So that kids could live longer and healthy life's. We will miss him and always love him.

Rides For Kids 2009 in Asheville

Early in the Morning I will be on the back on a motorcycle riding to help find the cure for pediatric brain tumors. Each ride in the year helps raise money for helping finding the cure.

Jake Owens Concert

This Concert was in Winston ,N.C where Nick Got to tell Jokes on stage and got to sing with Jake at the end. This little boy is a very sweet and has a Brain tumor and witch is part of my platform. I was able to go on Jake Owens bus and See and visit with nick before it all started .

Heading to Asheville

This weekend I will be at the Miss Labor day pageant ...Helping girls get ready and giving some helpful words.

With a little photoshoot sunday and heading home that afternoon.

Director Of Year

North Carolina Has the best director. Joy got the Director of the year and we knew that from the 1st day . We love you Joy !!

Saturday Finals Day and Night

Saturday All Miss and Teens had all day rehearsals ... The funny thing is it started out with no power because of a really bad storm the night before. By lunch time we got power and were able to start rehearsal at a full power. Finals that night were great . We all are so proud about how well North Carolina did this year.

Friday ... Free DAY

Friday I was able to get some sleep, then me and Joy and my mom went to lunch and shopping. That night was Miss Preliminaries where I was able to cheer on Miss North Carolina Int 2009 Julie. Where she did a great job.

Thursday

Thursday started with a all day rehearsal for teens. Follow by preliminaries that night for teens.

Wednesday When It all Starts

Wednesday was one big day for the teens we all had interview with the judges from 8a.m till 12. then Lunch with Joy then headed to Rehearsal.
