On Tuesday Nov. 24th I was able to be in the High Point Christmas Parade, Thanks to my driver Brandon and the people over the Christmas Parade.

Bob's Buddies Radiothon Nov. 25th broadcast live

On Wednesday the 25Th, Me and my mom along with my friend Kristin traveled to Raleigh/Durham area to attend the second annual radiothon for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. This was a 12h hour long radiothon that was broadcast live over 105.7 and 105.1 from 6a.m till 6p.m. I was able to be on the air from 12p.m till 1 p.m, I was able to talk about my sister Cora and the different things that went on while she was fighting her brain tumor for the 3 years. In the hour that I was on the air there was $11,811 dollars raised for the PBTF, at the end of the day there was a grand total of $134,805 dollars.

Thanks to all the people that called and give a donation also thanks to Bob and he showgram for giving their time and the air time to the PBTF.

There also was a lunch time opportunity that was given to all the people that were listing to the show that if we raised more than 9,000(which was the highest amount in one hour that morin) that Nick would get a kiss from Me (Miss Teen North Carolina) and we hit $11,811 so nick got a kiss ... the Video will be added to the blog in the next couple hours along with pictures.

Save Austin life with bone marrow drive

On November 8Th at 12:00p.m the line was out the door for Austins Bone Marrow drive that started at 1p.m and ended at 5p.m. Austin is a 19 year old young man who is once again fighting Leukemia he has fought this battle and won twice before so please pray for a 3rd miracle. There was over 900 people that came to see if they were the match, to help Austin , please keep him in your prayers an also that there was a match.

I would just like to take a min to think all the man and women that leave their families and sacrifice their life to help keep us safe everyday. Thank you!! GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU AND WHAT YOU DO!!! HAPPY VETERANS DAY! Thanks to my very on step dad William for your years of service, My Paw Paw Jim, and also Marcus who is now working with the Navy!

Special Olympics

Saturday November 7th I was able to spend time at the special olympics in High Point North Carolina, My home town. Where people came from all over for the events, Saturday night there was a dance for everyone and I was able to meet a lot of the kids and teens that were in the events.

Had a great time and loved every min of it :)

Duke University Hospital ~Service Of Remenbrance~

On October 3rd, 2009 Me and my family along with many other families, went to Duke University Hospital for a service to remember the love one's that passed away from cancer in 2009. I was able to share my sisters story with many others and what I am doing with my Title to make something Positive out of something Negative. This service really showed how many others have lost someone to Cancer.
